Dwindling ad revenues hits air cargo publishing sector

GLOBAL air cargo advertising spends are in such serious decline that the slump is threatening the viability, the quality and continuity of the few remaining printed newspapers and magazines covering the topic, writes ACE publisher Nigel Tomkins.

Advertisement revenues have sustained these publications over many years – but as increasing numbers of advertisers slash their ad-spend budgets, and some disappear from printed pages altogether, publishers are turning instead to bland, poorly-researched online versions.
